This 1954 Chevrolet 6400 is a cab-over-engine flatbed which was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership and was purchased by the seller in October 2018. Power comes from a 235ci inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox and a 2-speed rear end. The seller states that the truck has been repainted, the bed and interior have been refurbished, and an electric fuel pump has been added. This Chevrolet is offered with a pallet of spare parts and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The truck is said to be a two-ton model and has been repainted in red with an off-white grille and silver graphics. The cab features wing windows, extendable mirrors, and ingress handles on both sides. Flaws noted by the seller include a crack in the driver’s door window and a run in the paint on the passenger door.

The steel-ringed flatbed features a wood bulkhead, floor slats, and removable stake sides. The wheels are doubled up in the rear and finished with black centers and grey lips, and all are mounted with older 8.25-20 tires.

The steel dashboard is painted white and the vinyl bench seat provides lap belts for three occupants. A period fire extinguisher is mounted on the transmission tunnel, and the black headliner is depicted in the gallery. An uninstalled 1954 push-button radio accompanies the truck, though no speakers are fitted. The odometer indicates 2,500 miles, with approximately 500 added by the seller and total mileage unknown.

The 235ci inline-six drives the dually rear axle through a 4-speed manual gearbox and a 2-speed differential. The engine has reportedly been rebuilt, though supporting records are not provided. The truck is said to run a 12-volt electrical system, and an electric fuel pump has been installed.
