The 1957 Willys Jeep Pickup is finished in green over tan vinyl upholstery and was refurbished under prior ownership before being acquired by the current owner in January 2019. The truck is powered by a 226ci Super Hurricane inline-six mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Work completed as part of the reported body-off refurbishment included repainting the body, powder-coating the underside components, replacing the heater, and installing the 16″ wheels and tires. Equipment includes manually-locking front hubs, wooden bed side extensions, a 12-volt electrical system, a front winch, a power take-off unit, bench seating, and a cabin air vent. This Willys pickup is now offered with a clean Florida title.
The body was repainted in green with metallic flake as part of a refurbishment completed under prior ownership. Features include a front bumper, Koenig Iron Works front winch with a synthetic line, a rear power take-off, a driver-side mirror, tailgate chains, wooden bed side extensions, and “4 Wheel Drive” badging on the hood.
Body-colored 16″ steel wheels were reportedly installed as part of the refurbishment along with 6.5″ section S.T.A. Super Traxion tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking WARN hubs, and stopping is handled by four-wheel drum brakes.
The bench seating has been recovered in tan vinyl and is joined by a matching headliner and door panel inserts along with a body-colored dashboard and a black-rubber floor liner. Equipment includes a cabin fresh air vent, a heater, sun visors, a dome light, and a floor-mounted shifter and transfer case selectors. The heater was replaced as part of the refurbishment, according to the seller.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a Willys “W” venter emblem and sits ahead of center-mounted instrumentation including a 90-mph speedometer with inset gauges showing coolant temperature and fuel level. A Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge is installed. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the owner.
The 226ci Super Hurricane L-head inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 115 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. A 12-volt electrical system has been fitted, and the oil was changed and the fuel line replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed T-90 manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The underside components were powder-coated as part of the refurbishment.
