This 1964 Willys Jeep Station Wagon was crashed by the seller’s wife’s aunt in the late 1990s and subsequently parked before being acquired by the seller in 2018 and refurbished. Work involved repairing metal body panels, refinishing the body in blue and white, and retrimming the interior. The truck is powered by a 230ci Tornado inline-six linked with a three-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick transfer case, and it is further equipped with 16″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, four-wheel disc brakes, a roof rack, LED headlights, and a rearview camera as well as heated and power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in black leather, a touchscreen head unit, MTX audio speakers, a sleeping platform, and custom instrumentation. This wagon is now offered at no reserve with parts purchase receipts, hand-written refurbishment notes, and a clean Michigan title.
During the refurbishment, the body was removed from the fame, rust repairs were performed, and the truck was repainted in blue with a white roof and bodysides. Details include a roof rack, polished bodyside trim, LED headlights, auxiliary driving lights, rear barn doors, and steel front and rear bumpers.
White-finished 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 7.00-series Deestone tires. The front axle is equipped with Rugged Ridge manually locking hubs, and four-wheel disc brakes have been retrofitted.
The heated and power-adjustable bucket seats were sourced from a Volkswagen and are upholstered in black leather, and three-point seatbelts have been fitted for each occupant. A touchscreen infotainment system linked to MTX Audio speakers has been retrofitted, and additional elements include a rearview camera, a rear sleeping platform, wood side panels, and gray carpets. The right window crank handle is missing.
A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a digital speedometer and auxiliary readouts for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and exhaust gas temperatures. The truck does not currently have an odometer, and total mileage is unknown.
The 230ci Tornado inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor topped with a polished air cleaner housing, and a custom-fabricated exhaust system has been installed. An oil leak is noted.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick transfer case. The clutch was replaced in April 2020, and additional underside images are provided in the gallery below.
The vehicle is titled with the Michigan reconstructed VIN MI3506R341X111224 on the label above.
