1967 Ford Mustang Convertible
This 1967 Ford Mustang convertible is powered by a 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Candy Apple Red over red vinyl. Equipment includes a white convertible top, chrome Cragar S/S wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, front disc brakes, front bucket seats, an AM radio, and a cabin heater. The seller purchased the car in 2007 and it is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a car cover, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Candy Apple Red (T). The white power-operated soft top was installed around 2014 and features a glass window. Close-up photos of the paintwork, including areas of touch-up, can be viewed in the gallery.
Chrome 14″ Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with 195/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes.
The cabin is upholstered in red and features a center console, an AM radio, a Tilt-Away steering wheel, and lap seatbelts.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, and charging status. The five-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 10k of which were added by the seller.
The replacement 289ci V8 has been fitted with tubular headers, a PerTronix Flame Thrower ignition coil, a Cobra air filter housing, and Cobra valve covers. An electric radiator fan has also been installed, and the seller states that the engine seals and gaskets have been replaced under their ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
