1974 Mazda Rotary Pickup 5-Speed
This 1974 Mazda Rotary Pickup was acquired by the seller in 2019 and subsequently fitted with a five-speed manual transmission. The truck is powered by a 1.3-liter 13B rotary and is finished in white over black vinyl upholstery. Additional equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, faux woodgrain dashboard trim, a floor-mounted shifter, and an aftermarket exhaust system. This Rotary pickup is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, spare parts, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in white with Rotary Power graphics and was repainted under previous ownership in 2009. Details include a left-side mirror, H4 headlights, a chrome front bumper, and rear mud flaps. Rust and paint chips are noted on various body panels.
Black-finished 14″ steel wheels are mounted with 205/60 Falken tires that are dry rotted. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The bench seat was reupholstered in black vinyl and is joined by faux woodgrain trim that accents the dashboard. A floor-mounted shifter, a heater, lap seatbelts, and manual crank windows are further elements.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 800 of which have been added during current ownership.
The 1.3-liter 13B rotary engine is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust header. The alternator and drive belt are said to have been replaced in 2023.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via an RX-7-sourced five-speed manual transmission that was retrofitted under current ownership. The single exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle.
