This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in gold over Doeskin leather upholstery. Recent work consisted of installing a replacement engine, servicing the brakes, and replacing the water pump, fuel pump, flex plate, radiator, and hoses. The car is equipped with removable roof panels, a Positraction differential, an Engine Pro hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an HEI distributor, Accel ignition wires, Hooker Headers, 15″ eight-slot alloy wheels, a Sony CD stereo, cruise control, and power windows and door locks. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this C3 Corvette is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Oregon title.
The car was repainted in gold under prior ownership. Exterior details include removable roof panels, pop-up headlights, side marker lights, fender air vents, sport mirrors, and quad taillights.
The 15″ eight-slot alloy wheels are mounted with 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires, that were installed in 2024. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted discs. Work since 2022 consisted of replacing the rear calipers and brake pads as well as the master cylinder and axle seals.
The cabin was re-trimmed in Doeskin leather circa 2001. Amenities include a Sony CD stereo, cruise control, power windows and door locks, a tilting steering column, and Corvette-branded rubber floor mats. The air conditioning compressor has been removed.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a tilt-and-telescoping column and frames an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level are located in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows under 77k miles, approximately 25 of which were added under current ownership.
The 350ci V8 was reportedly replaced in 2023 and features an Engine Pro hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an HEI distributor, Accel 8mm ignition wires, platinum spark plugs, and Hooker Headers. Additional components that were replaced when the engine was fitted include the water pump, fuel pump, flex plate, radiator, and hoses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential.
