This 1992 Dodge Viper is the 54th production example to be built and is finished in red over gray leather. The car was shipped to Bill Luke Dodge of Phoenix, Arizona before being acquired new by Johnsons of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, with whom it spent the next 15 years. Power is from an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes 17″ tri-spoke wheels, a black soft roof panel, and a factory cassette stereo. Service following the current owner’s acquisition in March 2020 included refinishing interior surfaces, replacement of the fuel pressure regulator, and an oil change. This Viper shows 950 miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with Dodge correspondence, a brochure, purchase paperwork, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Viper Red Clearcoat and features a removable black soft roof panel as well as dual side-exit exhausts. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below.
Factory 17″ tri-spoke wheels measure 10″ wide up front and 13″ in the rear, and are mounted with Michelin XGT Z tires. The RT/10 came equipped with rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and vented disc brakes with 13″ rotors at each corner.
The cockpit features bolstered seats upholstery in gray leather, black carpeting, and a Chrysler-branded cassette player. The dash, center console, and door handles were refinished in April 2020.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a six-digit odometer showing 950 miles, approximately 50 of which have been added by the current owner. Auxiliary gauges extend across the center of the dash.
The 8.0-liter V10 was factory-rated at 400 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 450 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. An inspection was performed in April 2020, after which an oil change was carried out and the fuel pressure regulator was replaced with an aftermarket unit.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed Tremec manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The window sticker shows factory equipment along with a total price of $53,300. A dealer brochure and service records will also accompany the car.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists activity in Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas, and Arizona.
