This 1997 Chevrolet Camaro coupe has been registered in California since new and was originally purchased at M.K. Smith Chevrolet of Chino Hills, California. The car is powered by a 3.8-liter L36 V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and finished in Bright Red over Medium Gray cloth. Equipment includes removable roof panels, chrome 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Delco Bose cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning. The current owner purchased the car in 2024 and it has 81k miles. This Camaro coupe is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Bright Red and features a rear spoiler, fog lights, removable roof panels, black mirror caps, and black headlight surrounds. Paint blemishes on the hood, front and rear bumpers, and roof are shown up close in the gallery. The Carfax report includes a December 2007 damage report noting damage to the left side and left rear.
Chrome 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with a mixed set of tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums with ABS, though the ABS light is illuminated on the dashboard.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in Medium Gray cloth. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Delco Bose cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 125-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges. The fuel level gauge does not work. The digital odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.8-liter L36 V6 was factory rated at 205 horsepower. Oil leaks were repaired during service performed in April 2018, which involved replacing the cylinder head gaskets, thermostat, water pump, radiator, and spark plugs. The oil was changed in December 2024 and the car passed a state emissions test in January 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report notes the aforementioned damage report.
