This 1998 BMW M3 sedan was reportedly repainted in the factory shade of Titanium Silver Metallic under previous ownership, and work performed between 2019 and the seller’s acquisition on BaT in April 2024 included the installation of a Dinan Stage 1 suspension kit as well as rebuilding the VANOS system and replacing the fuel injectors, brake pads, lug bolts, valve cover gasket, and drivetrain mounts. Powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, the car has a limited-slip differential, gray Nappa leather upholstery, a sunroof, yellow-tinted fog lights, 17″ Style 39 wheels, power-adjustable front seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, an onboard computer, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This M3 sedan has 180k miles and is now offered at no reserve with partial service records, a car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car was finished from the factory in Titanium Silver Metallic and was reportedly repainted in the same shade under previous ownership. Replacement headlights and trim seals are said to have been fitted during the refinishing process. Exterior details include yellow-tinted fog lights, a sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The 17″ Style 39 wheels are secured by replacement lug bolts and are mounted 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Pirelli P Zero Nero tires that were installed in 2020. The car is equipped with a Dinan Stage 1 suspension kit, traction control, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, which received replacement pads in 2020. Replacement suspension bushings were reportedly installed that year.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in gray Nappa leather and are joined by color-coordinated door panel inserts. Amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, a cassette stereo, and dual-zone automatic climate control. A center stack vent strake is bent, the stereo volume knob is failing, and the rear speakers emit a popping sound.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 180k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The fuel level gauge is inaccurate.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The VANOS system was reportedly rebuilt in 2022, and work performed between 2019 and 2024 included replacing the valve cover gasket, fuel filter, crankcase ventilation valve and hoses, and fuel injectors.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission, engine, and differential mounts were replaced under previous ownership.
