Modified 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Coupe
This 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra coupe is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 that features JE pistons, billet camshafts, Precision Turbo blow-off valves, 1150cc fuel injectors, and a Holley boost controller and ECU. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Performance Automatic C4 Pro Mod three-speed automatic transmission, and additional modifications include a Transmission Specialties torque converter, 33-spline axles, an 8.8″ full-spool rear differential, 15″ beadlock wheels, double-adjustable coilovers, and manual disc brakes. The car is finished in Silver Metallic, and additional equipment includes a cowl-induction hood, a Kirkey driver’s seat, and a TCI shifter. This modified SVT Cobra is offered with an SVT certificate, a window sticker, service records, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Silver Metallic and features an aftermarket cowl-induction hood, a parachute mount, and a rear spoiler. A July 2008 entry on the Carfax report notes that the car sustained “severe damage” to “left front” and “front” after hitting a curb.
The 15″ five-spoke beadlock wheels are mounted with Nankang front tires, and Mickey Thomspon drag tires have been fitted out back. Equipment includes Team Z upper control arms, double-adjustable coilovers, a UPR Products K-member, and manual disc brakes.
The passenger seat and rear bench have been removed, and the driver’s seat has been replaced by a Kirkey racing seat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames an inoperative gauge cluster. Aftermarket auxiliary gauges are mounted to the A-pillar, and a Holley EFI screen is mounted ahead of a TCI shifter. The seller states the chassis has approximately 52k miles and notes the car has been driven 200 miles since the modifications were performed. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 4.6-liter V8 has been modified with the following components, according to the seller:

The battery has been relocated to the trunk and is mounted next to a CO2 tank for the wastegate system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Performance Automatic C4 Pro Mod three-speed automatic transmission. A Transmission Specialties torque converter features a 3k-rpm stall speed and is fitted with an aftermarket transmission brake. The car is also equipped with 33-spline axles and an 8.8″ full-spool rear differential with 3.73:1 gearing, according to the seller.
