302-Powered Everett-Morrison Cobra Replica 5-Speed
This Everett-Morrison roadster is a Cobra replica that was assembled circa 1996 and acquired by the seller in 2016. It is powered by a 302ci Ford V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in red with white center stripes over black vinyl upholstery. Additional details include 15″ five-spoke wheels, dual Edelbrock carburetors, a Mallory fuel pump, and MSD ignition in addition to a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Stewart-Warner instrumentation, a CD stereo, polished bumperettes, and a single roll hoop. This Cobra replica is now offered with a Caarfax report and a clean North Carolina title listing it as a 1996 Everett Morrison.
The fiberglass bodywork is affixed to a tubular frame and is finished in red with white center stripes. Exterior details include polished bumperettes, a hood scoop, fender vents, wind wings, a single roll hoop, a Le Mans-style fuel filler, and side-exit exhaust pipes.
The 15′′ Torq Thrust–style wheels wear faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car rides on adjustable coilovers and is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl that extends to the dashboard fascia and door panels, the latter of which feature map pockets. Interior elements include a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, tinted sunvisors, a CD stereo, and racing harnesses. The vehicle battery is housed in the trunk along with a Dual subwoofer and a JL Audio amplifier.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Cobra-branded horn button and fronts a Stewart-Warner 160-mph speedometer and tachometer as well as supplementary readouts for oil pressure coolant temperature, oil temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 7k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership.
The front-hinged hood opens to reveal a 302ci Ford V8 that is fed by a Mallory Comp Pump Series high-performance electric fuel pump and is equipped with dual Edelbrock carburetors, MSD ignition, heat-wrapped tubular exhaust headers, and Cobra-branded valve covers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. The seller states the clutch pedal needs to be pumped two to three times before operating.
The Everett-Morrison identification number is EM427SF1230061201 shown above and matches the VIN listed on the New Jersey title, which describes the car as a 1996 Everette Morrison.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage in a single entry from August 2006.
