Illuminated Porsche Sign
This Porsche sign is comprised of seven individually illuminated letters that collectively span 13′ and spell out the company name. Each letter features a translucent red panel, a metal enclosure, internal LED fixtures, 120-volt wiring, and threaded standoff mounts. The set is said to have been acquired by the seller in 2008 from Porsche of Des Moines in Iowa. This illuminated sign is now offered at no reserve in Buffalo, New York.
The set consists of seven letters, each constructed of a metal frame with a translucent red panel. LED fixtures housed within each enclosure provide illumination. Each letter measures approximately 22″ wide by 12″ tall by 3″ deep, and the sign spans about 13′ when arranged to spell the company name.
The sign is wired for 120-volt circuitry, and the included power supply can be viewed in the gallery.
Each letter has threaded standoff mounts fitted through the back of the enclosure. The seller notes scratches and wear on each piece.
Markings on the case of the letter “P” indicate that the unit was produced for Porsche Italia S.p.A.
