NFL fans are again accusing refs of rigging games for the Kansas City Chiefs. On Sunday, the Chiefs took on the Chiefs in the AFC championship game.
In the fourth quarter of a tight game, the Bills appeared to convert a play on fourth down but the refs said they were short. The Chiefs would get the ball on a loss of downs and scored a crucial touchdown in a tight game.
Fans on social media, including Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy lost their minds after the call.
I’m quitting watching football. There is no other way to teach @nflcommish a lesson. This is blatant cheating. #nflrigged pic.twitter.com/fGzya6LOQX

Only against the Chiefs is this not a first down pic.twitter.com/BvWhf8hqE3

Even CBS NFL rules analyst Gene Steratore was shocked by the spot.
“I felt like he gained it by about a third of the football…” said Steratore
The Chiefs go-ahead TD drive was set up by a ruling that Josh Allen did not get a Bills first down.
Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Gene Steratore react to the ruling.
"Wow." – Romo

"I agree." – Nantz 🏈🦓🎙️ https://t.co/R4Xs0phM0P pic.twitter.com/8xvT1t1rdn

“Awful call by the refs, clear first down… which then leads to a TD by the Chiefs. Like clockwork.” said Matt Leinart
“Clear first down by Josh Allen. No doubt about it but somehow the refs give him a terrible spot lol” commneted another fan on social media.
