There have been some absolutely blockbuster deals around the NFL over the last 24 hours.
Late Tuesday morning, the Packers landed the biggest “addition” of the offseason by convincing QB Aaron Rodgers to stay in Green Bay. Rodgers’s deal is reportedly worth $200 million over the next four seasons, with $150 million being guaranteed.
That domino falling left a few teams, one of which was the Denver Broncos, in limbo regarding their future at the quarterback position.
That uncertainty didn’t last long.
Shortly after the Rodgers news broke, the Broncos pulled the trigger on their next option.
A reported deal involves the Seattle Seahawks sending Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick to Denver in exchange for Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a fifth-round pick.
The trade gives the Broncos a huge boost on offense while it allows Seattle to rebuild with a few immediate starters and a ton of value in the NFL Draft.
Though Seahawks fans may be happy with how things turned out, some are being critical of head coach Pete Carroll for some comments made last week.

So reportedly Washington made an offer for Russ, and didn’t get it done, and Denver did. One week after Pete Carroll says Russ won’t get moved.
