Santa Crab?
The stuff about Kingler/Kringle in the Trivia section... I think that's really stretching it. TennysonXII 00:20, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Your well placed concern is noted, and I have uprooted the offending trivia. And sowed the ground with salt. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 00:24, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Egg Move
How can Kingler have Hammer Arm as its Egg Move if the only Pokemon it could inherit it from is another Kingler?--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 22:36, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- That would be because it can also learn it by level up (although it would need some help from the move reminder) Suic (talk) 23:37, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- But the moves from level up list are always inheritable and they aren't listed as egg moves.--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 23:46, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- You see, in order for a bred Pokémon to inherit a level up move, both parents need to know the move. However, if the move is also an Egg Move, only one of the parents need to know it. That not to mention that Krabby doesn't learn Hammer Arm by level up (only Kingler does), so if it wasn't an Egg Move, a bred Krabby woundn't possibly know it when it hatched, and there is no way to hatch a Kingler directly. Suic (talk) 00:43, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- It being an Egg Move is independent of potential parents in the first place.
- In addition to what Suic said, it also allows for Kingler to be passed on the move in the Pokémon Nursery, and to know it as a Brilliant Pokémon. Nescientist (talk) 08:18, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
