- If you were looking for the character from Pokémon Play It!, see Julie (Play It!).
Julie (Japanese: ヨウコ Yōko) is a character of the day who appeared in Game Winning Assist!.
A former Pokémon Coordinator, she now lives on a ranch near Fiery Path, where she takes care of multiple Numel. However, she still makes Pokéblocks for her Pokémon using the Berries that grow on the ranch. After being chased out of Fiery Path by a group of Slugma and tumbling down a hill, Ash and his friends met Julie when they spotted one of her Numel. After introducing themselves, May decided to battle Julie with her newly-caught Skitty so it could gain experience.
Overnight, Team Rocket poached all of Julie's Numel. However, May and Skitty were also captured, and they helped them escape. Julie had Ash, Brock, and Max hop in the back of her truck as she pursued Team Rocket. She and her Furret then worked together with Ash's Pikachu to send the trio blasting off. The next day, Julie showed Ash and his friends the way to Mt. Chimney.

Julie runs a Numel ranch, where the Numel enjoy grazing on the grassy plains and eating Berries from the surrounding trees. They are generally resting and have a tendency to wander off.
When Julie first met Ash and his friends, she found a missing Numel of hers. She then revealed that she owns a ranch full of Numel. One of her Numel that was missing was slower than the other Numel. When the Numel were caught by Team Rocket, the slow, dopey Numel tried to get over its speed problem with some support from May and her Skitty to escape from Team Rocket's mecha. The dopey Numel attacking caused the other ones to join in and they were able to penetrate Team Rocket's mecha, thus finally escaping from it.
Numel's known moves are Tackle and Flamethrower.

Furret assists Julie on her ranch by rounding up the Numel, who often wander off.
Julie also used it in a battle against May's Skitty. Furret is very fast, dodging most of Skitty's attacks. During their battle, May learned about Skitty's Assist attack. Despite Skitty learning the new move, Furret was able to defeat it.
Furret later defeated Jessie's Seviper with a powerful Slam attack before Ash's Pikachu sent Team Rocket blasting off.
Furret's only known move is Slam.
