Halves the damage from physical moves.

Fur Coat (Japanese: ファーコート Fur Coat) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Generation VII, it was the signature Ability of Furfrou. In Generation IX, it is the signature Ability of Alolan Persian.

Effect

In battle

Fur Coat doubles the Defense stat of the Pokémon with this Ability. It has no effect on self-inflicted confusion damage.

Outside of battle

Fur Coat has no effect outside of battle.
