Kings Own reservists rappel off Calgary Tower
Members of the Kings Own reservists are reminding Calgarians that they are in the city and like to have a bit of fun now and again. Like jumping off perfectly good tall buildings, instead of taking the stairs, or an elevator.
Members of the Kings Own reservists are reminding Calgarians that they are in the city and like to have a bit of fun now and again. Like jumping off perfectly good tall buildings, instead of taking the stairs, or an elevator. Over the weekend, starting on Friday, soldiers were rapelling down the Calgary Tower. They will be back at it on Saturday morning, at 8 a.m. with 60 soldiers scheduled to step off the building ledge and work their way down to the ground.
