According to Public Advisory No. 09-2022 of the Provincial Health Office (PHO), Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital (CNPH) will be limiting admissions in medical wards. This is for the reason hospital wards are now understaffed due to various reasons including health concerns of their medical workers.
This is effective yesterday, January 19, 2022, until lifted.
According to the said advisory, some patients are developing CIVID-19 infections while admitted in medical wards despite strict observance of infection prevention strategies in the facilities.
Limiting the number of admissions daily is necessary to prevent congestions that may cause cross-transmission of infections.
PHO still encourages the public to strictly follow health protocols at all times to stop the spread of COVID-19.
