One person seriously injured following boat crash on Lake Austin west of Pennybacker Bridge

AUSTIN, Texas — A boat crash on Lake Austin left one person seriously injured Friday night.

Austin-Travis County EMS says the crash reportedly happened just after 8 p.m. just west of the Pennybacker Bridge.

ATCEMS said two people were involved after crashing into a dock.

One person was taken to St. David's South with serious injuries, while the other person refused medical transport.

It's unclear what caused the boat to crash.

The incident is still under investigation.
