Migrant Health Program
Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers are an underserved and underinsured mobile population filled with economic uncertainty, language barriers, limited access to health care, and hazardous working conditions.
This special population’s greatest needs include access to disease prevention, health promotion and education. Migrant Health services are provided at CHI’s Everglades and South Dade Health Centers. Those centers are located in Farmworker housing communities to decrease the limited access to health care and reduce barriers to care.
