Yes, official fireworks in America have been cancelled and were months ago. That doesn't mean private citizens skies are going to be clear. Tonight starting at 11p.m eastern time to 1a.m there's suppose to also be an awesome lunar eclipse. The timing is perfect as if God said, well, your government won't light the skies with the wonder of firework blasts, but if you look up for the next four hours starting just before midnight, you'll see a spectacular light show that government can't shut down.

Are people still celebrating where you live? I thought last night we would hear fireworks again but I didn't hear anything outside so I guess it's over in my rural area. Where I used to live in the suburbs of Chicago people are still setting them off like a war zone!
