ISO 50001:2018 is an international standard for energy management that is designed to help organizations implement, maintain and improve a management system to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

Google owned & operated EMEA data centers are certified as ISO 50001:2018 compliant after undergoing an audit by an independent third party auditor. ISO 50001:2018 compliance for Google’s data centers demonstrates that in-scope locations hosting Google products and services meet the requirements as defined by ISO 50001:2018.
