Birthday party (x5). Meal service was quick and meal very filling. Bar was slow but let's be candid - I'm not sure they expected the volume on a rainy Sunday.

Cannot recommended highly enough. Catered for 90+ people for community function. Entrees ,(Mezze platters), mains (Christmas in June menu) and sweets were fantastic. Staff attentive and capable. Always a good sign when vegetables are cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our function.

Good, but could easily be great. I really want to like this place more than I do. It's got good bones for a quintessential pub bistro experience. Solid menu, lots of space, clean without losing its pub vibe. It does however fall flat in spots too. In order of my experience. The first door you encounter when walking around from the shops is locked giving the impression it's closed, the staff react to customers rather be present for them, food preparation is slow (this isn't a busy period problem) you have to collect food with a pager even when the place is quite (akin to self service checkouts as the customer you are wondering why you are doing the work), tables not cleared after eating and lastly I get it's very important to know your regulars, I've come from this industry, but I ask management how would you get to know possible future regulars if they are completely left to their own devices.

Had two fantastic meals in a row here. I'm not a vegetarian at all, but I understand the concept and was glad to see they had an extensive menu including vegetarian options. I found the beer taps to be very cold which results in a great beer. staff friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Billy who assisted tying my shoe lace when he saw me struggle as I had my fingers bandaged together from an incident earlier that day (story for another time). I tried tipping him $10 but he refused. Kudos young man

Great place for some good food and drinks. Nice place to visit with your family. Now they have a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. The guys tasted good too. This place has accessible entry. There is ample parking. If you are in the area it's a worthy visit.

Berowra Tavern is not only a beautiful venue, but the food and service is immaculate.

Ordered rump steak, very well cooked, chips were good. The pepper sauce wasn't too bad, was more like a gravy with peppercorns added. Very spacious

What a joke, not even busy and food is taking way too long and it wasn't even that good. The worst part about this place is that parents let there children run wild and staff refuse to do anything about it how embarrassing. We will not be back.

Travelled a really long way to be served cold partially cooked pizza with meagre herbs and negligible pumpkin.overall an insult to a vegetarian dish.

It beats the Hornsby pubs easily. There was plenty of roast (it was pork). The veggies were fresh and hand cut and the gravy was proper gravy. And it was &18.00 which is a bargain for what we got. My friends are harassing me about going next week already.

Lovely service, tasty and hot food served fast, comfortable seats and tables.
I had the plant based schnitzel with mash, steamed veg, and green pepper sauce.

Monday night dinner, I had the Rump steak on special and it was great, cooked to perfection (medium rare) with mushroom sauce and Vegs and mash. This was the best and tastiest steak I have had for a long time. Fantastic value at $15. I'll be back.

Great Tavern in the heart of Berowra shopping Village. Love the outlay of this tavern. Staff very helpful at all times. Plenty of tables to choose from, plus great outdoor area. There is a seperate area to have gatherings out. Food was awesome. Plenty of parking.

After a very long absence I made a return with many from our river community. Great to return and enjoy some local hospitality!
Our Christmas in July meal was fabulous. Thankyou management and staff for being the best hosts!

The food was terrific, especially the chicken schnitzel "the immunity." The chicken cooked perfectly, and the taste was bursting in my mouth. The chips were cooked faultlessly and quite delicious. I quite enjoy the food that well. The reason I put four stars was I was disappointed in the salad, I noticed there some yellow and not fresh. I hope you guys can fix that so you guys can have five stars!

It's our favourite weekly event. Best value meal, fabulous staff, friendly atmosphere, food is great. What more could you ask for.

First time back after a few years and pleasing to see that even with a reduced menu offering due to COVID, the quality of the food has improved. Lots of room indoors and in the beer garden and plenty of beers on tap, this is a typical suburban pub that is family friendly. You could walk from the station if you're super keen, be aware it'll take 40 minutes or so, so you're better off driving.

Not bad. Typical pub food, nothing too exciting and not great vegetarian or vegan options. They do allow dogs in the beer garden though which is a big plus! Onion rings were good.
