As this is the image given by them to all the media (including those which publish under a free license), and the web states that their content is cc-by-sa, I think is pretty fair to assume that, indeed, this image is free. - Literally all you had to do is take a look at Commons regulations to see that you need to establish that it is out of copyright in the source country as well as the US. Literally all you had to do was check Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Finland to read "Copyright in a cinematographic work subsists until 70 years have elapsed from the year of the death of the last of the following to survive: the principal director, the author of the screenplay, the author of the dialogue and the composer of music specifically created for use in the cinematographic work". This is taken from youtube with the youtube license. I refused the license review, because the youtube license is not justified. User:Yann reverted my negative review and approved the licence. So now I listed this deletion request. The film is showing the CC-BY-NC-ND licence in the beginning of the film on the upper lefthand corner as well as at the end of the film, which is not compatible with the licensing on Commons. This is a lot to review, but most of these appear to be unused and either 1) functional duplicates of existing flag/emblem images (e.g. File:Nationalist Flag (1939-1945).svg, duplicative of File:Flag of Spain (1938–1945).svg), 2) clearly fictitious (e.g. File:National flag of odra.png - no such real or historical nation exists), or 3) too poorly described to identify (e.g. File:Meremrt.svg - described simply as "eedede"). You can reference to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Art. 1276 paragraph 2 to refer to, but paragraph 1 has not disappeared anywhere (the camera focuses on the monument, and anyone can crop the image) “It is allowed without the consent of the author or other right holder and without paying a fee to reproduce and distribute produced copies, to transmit on air or through a cable, to bring to public knowledge works of fine arts or photographic works which are permanently located in a public place, except if the image of the work is the main object of use or the image of a work is used for the purpose of deriving profit."

- Delete due to the image quality. It's also likely not to be Bunford. Postcard versions for example, in this article include the contemporaneous caption "The Three Sisters. Aama, The Giantess; and Princess Josepha, Midget." The postcard IDs the photographer as Frank Wendt, "Photo. Artist," of New York. "Lady Aama" was the stage name of Emma Aline Bataillard and this 1910 source states the photo was taken a year before Lady Aama's death, dating it to 1892. Here's an 1892 article about Aama and Josepha, but I'm not finding anything outlining Josepha's real name or history, nor anything about the third "sister." Image violates copyright. All images from the Parliament of Victoria website are under copyright and not available to share under an open license. The website (now and in 2019 at the time of this upload) states " copyright material [can be used] for personal, non-commercial use, for research or study, or use within your organisation". The CC BY-SA license doesn't fit this, and the image should be removed as the uploader hasn't been active since making the upload and didn't defend their previous image deletion due to copyright infringement either. People in these areas are very sensitive about their pictures being taken much less being uploaded to internet without their permission. It seems as though the photographer was visitor to this area who stopped by and took the picture of these individuals while they were going about their business on the road. It is clear that these people were not aware of their picture being taken by a stranger. This is being used to depict traditional clothing but they did not allow you to use their picture to show their clothing and neither they were wearing those clothes so you take their picture without their permission and upload it to the internet. The origin of the third image is questionable, but there's a couple of very similar portrait of Haitian heads of state out there. So if I were to guess they are probably the basis for it. While the works of Roger Broders are now in the public domain in France, this 1930 poster is still copyrighted in the USA because the URAA restored its US copyright. - Hello. It's difficult to see how I have plagiarised text when I have quoted more than is on the museum website. The fact is, they both come from the same source: the information panel describing the cabinet. Claim that an archivist possessing a copy of the image has released it from copyright, which is not a valid argument unless the archive can prove ownership of copyright. Uploaded as CC0 but with no supporting evidence. If this was by an unknown photographer in the UK, it would be protected for 70 years from creation per Commons:Copyright rules by territory/United Kingdom. That would mean the UK copyright would expire on 1 January 2036. The US copyright would be 95 years from publication. As the image looks like it has come from a newspaper and it was for a ceremony in 1965, it is likely to have been published the same year. US copyright will expire on 1 January 2061. - Das Wappen wurde vom Verschönerungsverein erstellt und ist laut diesem gemeinfrei. (Siehe: Hohe Wappenrolle von Woltersdorf, 2021, S. 32) Ich habe eine Version dieser Wappen für Wikipedia erstellt. - Keep, ho visto ora anche l'email che mi hai inviato: in base alle norme sul Copyright possiamo usare solo la blasonatura come guida, teoricamente non dovremmo nemmeno guardare al disegno ufficiale, ma a norma araldica ogni variante che segue la blasonatura è corretta (nel caso di smalti e metalli, c'è uno standard che seguiamo per gli stemmi italiani). Se vuoi chiedere al comune la concessione dello stemma ufficiale, saremmo ben lieti di caricarlo e vettorializzarlo in modo più affine all'uso ufficiale. Sciking (talk) 15:40, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

- Non conosco l'araldica e, da profano, sono basito dalla risposta: se lo stemma usato nei documenti ufficiali del comune ha una tonalità di sfondo ben diversa su wikipedia si lascia un colore differente ben sapendo che è differente e solo per rispettare uno standard astratto?
- Ne prendo atto ma mi pare l'introduzione di una informazione sbagliata sul paese nella pagina di wikipedia.

- @IT1315922 non credere che ciò che viene prodotto dalle amministrazioni locali, soprattutto in tema di araldica, sia oro colato. L'araldica non è una scienza esatta (ci arrivo), ma ha delle regole, e l'ente armigero *non* ha nessuna "golden share" sul disegno dello stemma.
- C'è un grosso equivoco di base - mediamente diffuso - in merito al funzionamento dell'araldica. Semplificando al massimo: uno stemma non è un logo. Perché il logo, tipicamente, è sempre "disegnato così", secondo canoni ben codificati in un manuale di immagine coordinata... mentre lo stemma ha quale *unica* costante per definirlo la *blasonatura*, che è una descrizione puramente testuale. Cosa significa ciò? Significa che il disegnatore ha ampia libertà nel renderla graficamente: basti pensare che quasi tutte le sfumature del blu, in araldica, sono liquidate come "azzurro" (a parte rari casi, come il "campo di cielo" per la tonalità molto chiara usata appunto come cielo), il giallo o l'ocra sono sempre "oro" e così via... per non parlare dei millemila aspetti che può avere, che so, un leone (vedi Category:SVG_coat_of_arms_elements_-_lions). Partendo da una blasonatura "di nero al leone rampante d'oro" posso avere questo (file:Royal_Arms_of_Belgium.svg) così come questo (file:Armoiries Brabant.svg).
- Di riflesso, se uno stemma rispetta la blasonatura codificata, è automaticamente valido, senza che una resa grafica abbia la prelazione su un'altra. Poi intendiamoci, giustamente il Comune userà una propria versione (in quel caso sì, alla stregua di un logo) nei suoi ambiti istituzionali, per patrocini e altro... ma primo, non è più "vera" delle altre, secondo, essendo un design proprietario, non è il massimo volerlo adoperare anche qui, dove imperano le licenze libere. Anzi, da un punto di vista formale, 99/100 i design proprietari dei comuni, in quanto bene immateriale dell'ente, *non* sono legalmente concedibili per usi commerciali e quindi non possono essere rilasciati sotto le licenze libere che valgono per Wikimedia Commons.
- Per quel che posso constatare, questo stemma è conforme alla blasonatura codificata nel DPR 4 ottobre 1986, per cui non vi è motivo di procedere a una sostituzione. Magari si può lavorare sull'aspetto, ma senza ansie. Per ulteriori ragguagli rimando a questa discussione dove analogo tema è stato approfonditamente disaminato, e invito altresì alla lettura di questo saggio di Alessandro Savorelli, uno dei migliori araldisti italiani Vale93b (talk) 08:53, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Kept: No reason for deletion of this file. According to the Deletion policy a supposedly incorrect, original researched or not-neutral file is not a reason for deletion. This aspect should be addressed on the projects. The file is currently in use on the projects, so it has to be maintained.
