Title 17, Ch. 1, Sec. 107 of the US Copyright law states that such Fair Use "is not an infringement of copyright."  Click HERE to read the statute.  While copyright infringement complaints must be decided on a case by case basis, the Supreme Court has determined that copyright law cannot be used for the sole purpose of suppressing ideas. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by Superchargedone (talk • contribs) 23:01, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TV logos

Hi,

I've seen your fantastic work with Canal+ Liga and Canal+ Fútbol logos, two Canal+ Spanish TV channels. It would be interesting to create the Canal+ Liga de Campeones and Canal+ Deportes logos to complete the section.

Thanks. Puente aereo (talk) 11:13, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Elections to the Lok Sabha

Hallo Sreejithk2000, I have noticed that you have uploaded a photograph of an electronic voting machine. Are you still living in India and do you have the possibility to upload some photographs of election posters or election candidates ? This would be much appreciated. I have not found a single photograph of this large election campaign and election event on the Commons which I find really amazing. Greetings --Furfur (talk) 09:06, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The posters are all copyright protected. I am in US currently, but I see a lot of posters in facebook from my friends. Unfortunately, none of them are eligible to be uploaded here. --Sreejith K (talk) 14:52, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I understand. What a pity ! Eight hundred million voters and we have currently no single campaign poster ... Greetings --Furfur (talk) 21:43, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Albeit copyrighted, Google has a lot of images; in case you are interested to browse through. Link: https://www.google.com/search?q=india+election+posters&tbm=isch --Sreejith K (talk) 22:20, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:Parvathi actress.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
