SieBot

Purpose: Running bots from the pywikipediabot framework.

I am no python programmer, so I will not make any major modifications to the existing bots. It will mainly be used for mass recategorisation where needed. It has made two major runs so far: recategorising 'Churches of Country name' to 'Churches in Country name' and recategorising {{Insignia2}} to {{Insignia}}.

Previous experience with bots on MediaWiki sites:

• nl:User:SieBot: 10k+ edits
• OmegaWiki:User:SieBot
• several other wikipedia sites for interwiki (see interwiki on nl:User:SieBot)
