עברית: פסל "עין השמש" הוא פסל שיצר האמן הישראלי מוטי מזרחי, המעוצב כעדשת ענק, אשר צידה המזרחי צהוב ומייצג את השמש, ואילו המערבי – אפור, ומייצג את הירח. הפסל, המתנשא לגובה של 18 מטרים, ניצב במרכז כיכר היובל בחוף הריביירה של אשדוד ברובע ט"ו, לציון מלוא יובל לעיר בשנת 2006. בלילות, הכיכר מוארת בצבעים מתחלפים, וכן לסימול חגים ואירועים מיוחדים.
العربية: تمثال "عين الشمس" هو عمل للفنان موتي مزراحي، مصمم كعدسة عملاقة. الجانب الشرقي منه أصفر، يمثل الشمس، بينما الجانب الغربي رمادي، يمثل القمر. يقف التمثال الذي يبلغ ارتفاعه 18 متراً في وسط ساحة هايوفيل (ساحة اليوبيل) على الشاطئ الجنوبي لمدينة أشدود. تم افتتاح الساحة بمناسبة الذكرى الخمسين لتأسيس مدينة أشدود في عام 2006. في الليل، تُضاء الساحة بألوان متغيرة، وكذلك للاحتفال بالأعياد والمناسبات الخاصة.
English: "The Eye of the Sun" sculpture is a work by artist Motti Mizrachi, designed as a giant lens. Its eastern side is yellow, representing the sun, while its western side is gray, representing the moon. The 18-meter-tall sculpture stands in the center of HaYovel Square (Jubilee Square) on Ashdod's southernmost beach, marking the city's 50th anniversary in 2006. At night, the square is illuminated in changing colors, as well as to mark holidays and special events.
Deutsch: Die Skulptur "Das Auge der Sonne" ist ein Werk des Künstlers Motti Mizrachi, das als riesige Linse konzipiert wurde. Ihre östliche Seite ist gelb und repräsentiert die Sonne, während ihre westliche Seite grau ist und den Mond darstellt. Die 18 Meter hohe Skulptur steht im Zentrum des HaYovel-Platzes (Jubiläumsplatz) am südlichsten Strand von Ashdod. Der Platz selbst wurde anlässlich des 50-jährigen Stadtjubiläums von Ashdod im Jahr 2006 eingeweiht3. La scultura alta 18 metri si trova al centro di Piazza HaYovel (Piazza del Giubileo) sulla spiaggia più meridionale di Ashdod.
