| Description |
soldiers at our campsite. The 1st of january we were near Jibla for camping and having the sequent day a long walk on the mountains around. Thanks to the 'Id feast in Yemen and muslim country i profited to buy some fireworks (and one very big with 8 loud and brillant different colour fires). At 22.00 we decided to fire the fireworks and all the upper part of the walley was illuminated by. At 22.15 the chief of the village nearby the tents come with his gun, asking to shout some bullet for fun. At 22.30 three soldiers come to the tents to see what's going on there... the slept under the moonlight close to our tents and in the morning were begging the breackfast (we gave them nothing). strange habit, when the first day of 'Id we had been woken up by a machinegunning nobady was carying about it but 8 innocent and colorful fireworks made a little mess here... |
