Description
Svenska: Ambassadörparet Butterworth i samspråk med direktör Sigfrid Edström och f. envoyén H. von Hiedenstam.
Millesgården var med sin fria, rena rymd den idealiska miljön för högtidlighållandet av Independence Day, den amerikanska nationaldagen, på lördagen. Idealisk för att friheten stod i centrum för de tal som hölls och därför att Carl Milles med sin konst, lika uppskattad i USA som här hemma, framhölls som en symbol för de band som förenar de båda folken.
