Description
English: The monument aux morts at Appilly which lies to the east of Noyon. The sculptor was Marius-Léon Cladel (1883–1948).A widow and her daughter stand before the grave of her husband. The monument dates from 1929 and the inauguration took place on 6 October 1929. Here we see the mother's face, a tear running down her cheek.
