A berber guide that allowed me to see Sahara from a different perspective

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Brahim, the guy in the picture, took me by the hand when I was wandering through the dunes of the Sahara. He taught me that we foreigners are wrong when we say "Sahara Desert," because Sahara in Arabic really means "desert." Basically, we are repeating the same word twice. Although it may seem like a subtlety, this detail made me think about how necessary it is to emphasize the greatness of such a fascinating place by repeating its name twice.
