Description

Who builds the best nest? They get to mate with the female. Look at the different types of nests! Different entrances and sizes. Some good, some incomplete!

And so the males are at work. In the picture we can see 4 hanging nests, different types all woven by this tiny bird. It is hard work and only those successful at pleasing the female get to mate. And once rejected, they start all over again. Each one gets a chance to showcase it to the female which does a thorough inspection. I was lucky to have witnessed the whole delightful episode.
