Description
Nederlands: De pruik toont het typische kapsel van een Masai krijger. De rode verf bestaat uit een mengsel van dierlijk vet en rode aarde, hiermee worden de haarstrengen (Ol Babet) ingesmeerd. De strengen worden verlengd met vezels van de bast van de baobab (Ol Mesera) en een andere boom (Ol Retete). In dit gemaakte voorbeeld van de haardracht ontbreekt de lange staart. Vaak parfumeert men het haar met het wortelpoeder van de Ol Ar Kidonoi (Croton Spee).
