| Description |
English: The RAN Daring class destroyer HMAS Vendetta (II) is on its first and only deployment to the Vietnam War. The Vendetta, attached to the US Seventh Fleet, is providing naval gunfire support on the gunline, off the coast of South Vietnam. The crew are participating in Christmas activities on board ship. A combined service with Christmas Day prayers is performed by Fleet Chapain Father Louis Joseph Breslan, of Sydney, NSW, and Anglican Chaplain Allan Keith Batt, of Normanhurst, NSW. |
