Notes
English: At the beginning of the 17th century the Collegium Hosianum in Braniewo (Braunsberg) had a very rich library, consisting of a collection of old books of the Franciscans, Cardinal Stanisław Hozjusz's gifts, gifts of the Pope and King Sigismund III of Poland and the books purchased by the school. There were also books from the collections of the Polish-Latin poet Jan Dantyszek. The library included about 3000 items: 58 manuscripts, 336 incunabula and 2255 prints.
