Description
English: Fairport Convention, UK electric folk band on stage at the 1982 Cropredy Festival (Tony Rees photograph). L-R: Linda Thompson (guest), Dave Swarbrick, Trevor Lucas, obscured drummer (Dave Mattacks), Dave Pegg, Jerry Donahue. A full video record of this performance (professionally captured) was released on VHS in 1996 as "Fairport Convention – Forever Young - Cropredy 1982" (Musikfolk – MFV04); this shot appears to correspond with a moment in their performance of "The Ballad of Ned Kelly", starting point approx. 1:07:50 per this copy on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx9w3dvFITk).
