Summary
[edit]DescriptionGinkgo Biloba a Firenze (piazzale Michelangelo).jpg |
Italiano: Ginkgo Biloba a Piazzale Michelangelo Firenze.
English: Ginkgo Biloba in Piazzale Michelangelo Florence. This tree show is a Ginkgo Biloba, I photographed it at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence in the autumn. This plant is considered a living fossil as it is the only remaining species of the Ginkgoaceae, a family very represented in the Mesozoic era. It is a long-lived tree with an erect stem, with deciduous fan-shaped leaves.
Resistant to climatic adversities and immune to parasites, Japan saw it bloom in Hiroshima the spring after the nuclear bombing, the Ginkgo Biloba reaches 1000 years. When even in autumn, it is suddenly spring. |
