SAN FRANCISCO -- Marine Safety and Security Team (MSST) 91105 patrols the San Francisco Bay here July 22 in a 25-foot Response Boat Homeland Security craft. MSSTs are a relatively new U.S. Coast Guard anti-terrorism team established to protect local maritime assets. It is a United States Coast Guard harbor and inshore patrol and security team that includes detecting and if necessary stopping or arresting submerged divers, using the Underwater Port Security System.
