Description
English: The Romans began to cross their empire with a network of cobbled streets from the 3rd century BC. They initially served in the military; as deployment and supply routes in the expansion and securing of the world empire.
Deutsch: Die Römer begannen ab dem 3. Jahrhundert vor Christus ihr Reich mit einem Netz gepflasterter Straßen zu durchziehen. Sie dienten zunächst dem Militär; als Aufmarsch- und Versorgungswege bei der Vergrößerung und Sicherung des Weltreichs.
