Description
English: The Ross Sea is the largest polar marine ecosystem in the world. Numerous scientific research stations are located along its coasts. The Zucchelli Station, which will reopen soon after the austral winter, is visible in the Copernicus Sentinel-2 image acquired on 19 October 2022. Recently, a webinar was held on how Copernicus contributes to the monitoring of the polar regions. Additional details are available here.

  3. Where that data or information has been adapted or modified, the user shall clearly state this.
