Object history
Deutsch: Der heraldisch stilisierte Brunnen nimmt Bezug auf das Thermalbad Füssing, dem wirtschaftlichen Mittelpunkt der 1971/72 aus den Gemeinden Safferstetten, Egglfing am Inn, Würding und Aigen neu gebildeten Gemeinde Bad Füssing. Zugleich veranschaulicht der Brunnen den Namenszusatz Bad des seit Anfang der 1970er-Jahre aufblühenden Fremdenverkehrsortes. Die Kette, ein Attribut des heiligen Leonhard, soll die Erinnerung an die über lange Zeit gepflegte Leonhardi-Wallfahrt in Aigen wachhalten.
