Object history
Deutsch: Die Burggrafen von Nürnberg sind seit der zweiten Hälfte des 14. Jahrhunderts in Baudenbach nachweisbar. Markgraf Friedrich von Brandenburg-Bayreuth verlieh dem Ort 1747 Markrechte, die aber keine eigene Siegelführung zur Folge hatten. Seit 1949 führt Baudenbach ein Wappen. Der Brunnen stellt den Marktbrunnen aus dem Jahr 1544 dar. Das gevierte Schildchen ist das Wappen der Zollern und erinnert an die Markrechtsverleihung durch Friedrich von Brandenburg-Bayreuth. Die Farben Rot und Silber sind die Farben des brandenburgischen Adlerwappens und weisen auf die einstige Landesherrschaft der Markgrafen von Brandenburg hin.
