Description
English: If you took a walk down to this spot nowadays you wouldn’t recognise it, but look straight down the alleyway and to the right you’ll just see the edge of the Rose & Crown pub, and on the other side, slightly nearer, is James Elwell’s house (now occupied by Rolando’s Italian bakery), which together indicate that this is the location of Wylie’s Road, before it was widened to accommodate more traffic.

It had many names back then, including Ticklebelly Alley, Wylie’s Lane, Tittlebally Alley, and Witty Lane. Perhaps you remember it by another name?
