Description
עברית: צִיפּוֹרִי הייתה עיר עתיקה במרכז הגליל התחתון, חמישה קילומטרים מצפון מערב לנצרת. יישוב היה קיים במקום כבר בתקופת הברזל II, ועיר יהודית התקיימה בו מתקופת החשמונאים ועד המאה ה-5 לספירה, כאשר יהודים ישבו באזור עד המאה ה-10. אתר ציפורי הוא גן לאומי המשתרע על שטח של כ-16 קמ"ר. הגן נפתח לציבור בשנת 1992. החפירות בגן טרם הסתיימו.
