I've recently added a DJI Mini 3 Pro to my kit, but have found that it does not appear to be properly supported in Lightroom Classic (I'm at v12.1)
My Mini 2 would report that the lens profile was built in and would allow me to use the Adobe Landscape colour profile.
The Mini 3 Pro does not have a lens profile or allow the Lanscape colour profile.
Is this simply because Adobe have not yet included the camera in the latest updates? What's the typical wait between a new camera being on the market and it being included in the Lightroom family?
@GoldingD I thought about that too, but that is not the issue. The photo is DNG allright. You can see that by looking at the white balance sliders. This is a known issue. Some cameras, especially some DJI drones, create a DNG that is only partly supported by Lightroom Classic. Lightroom can import and edit those DNG files, but there are no raw profiles. AFAIK, there is no lens profile for this drone yet either.

Yes, the Mini 3 Pro is supported, but not (yet?) in the same way as fully supported raw files. As you noticed. I have no idea if Adobe has planned full support, however.

Thanks for the feedback. This morning (21st January 2023) I was chatting with an Adobe support technician, fixing an issue I had with a file stuck synchronising to LR Classic from LR Mobile. Once we'd finished that issue I asked about support for DJI Mini 3 Pro DNG files... they're not yet supported for lens profiles nor Adobe Raw colour profiles - but they're working on it and it should be available soon.

Happy to report that I've just noticed that in the latest LrC 13.1 my DJI Mini 3 Pro images now allow selection of Adobe Landscape (and other) profiles for the DNG output from the drone. I'm not seeing a lens profile, but at least we now have access to the colour profiles.

1. Profile
Is your photo a JPEG or a DNG/
2. Lens correction.
Can you show the entire Lens Correction panel, and can you show it without checking on the Enable Profiles Correction box.

I was having great results using the embedded profile when importing Mini 3 Pro raw files. But in the last month or so, I now only have choice for Adobe profiles, and none look as good as the embedded:
Embedded
adobe color - less saturated, flatter
Any way I can get the embedded profile back? The last import I had a choice was 11/3, so I may revert and see if it reappears.

Have you tried Adobe Landscape? That has a bit more saturation, so it will probably be closer to the old embedded profile. Another thing you may do is take a bit of time to find some slider settings that will make Adobe Color match the embedded profile. That should be fairly simple. Then save these settings as a new preset and use this preset as your new camera default for this drone.

Hi John,
Yes, I did find that Landscape was the closest. Tweaked the settings but haven't made a preset yet. Thanks for replying!

@uncleoat I have some news for you that you are going to like very much. If you browse your profiles when you have a DJI Mini 3 Pro image selected, then look in the 'Legacy' group. The old 'Embedded' profile is still available...

Thanks for following up John! Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, I don't see a "Legacy" group:

You have hidden that group. Click on the plus icon (upper left corner) and select 'Manage Profiles'.

That did it, thank you so much! Have a Happy New Year!
