   Here is Ginny with her Breyer Quarter Horse.

  Toni is a little envious of Ginny. She would love to have a horse or a pony, but it is not possible for her.

  Toni is fortunate that she has her cat Tiny and her dog Trixie and they are wonderful pets.

  This is the Horse and Equestrian Ginny that I got to surprise my cousin for her birthday. This Ginny doll looks just like her as a child, even the same short blonde haircut and brown eyes.

  She had two horses, a Morgan and a Quarter Horse and rode and competed from the age of 12 -18.

@Enufstuff.  I know how Toni felt.  I so badly wanted a hose as a child.  I eventually had several after I got married.

@Kachina624  How wonderful that you eventually got your horses. What kind did you have ? Did you breed them, race them or show them?  Did you ride Western or English?

@Enufstuff. We had a gaited gray mare and a bay quarter horse gelding.  We bred the mare to an appaloosa stallion and got a beautiful appaloosa foal.

After our son was born, we just no longer had the time to devote to riding and caring for the horses.  We had to drive to a rented pasture and barn about 10 miles every night to feed them.  It became a burden.

@Enufstuff ,  your little Ginny is too cute.   I love everything about her, her little jodhpurs (sp?) and her horseshoe jersey.  I even have a cousin who has the striking combination of blonde hair and big brown eyes.  Thanks for writing such fun threads!
