Fantastic..Saving $700 a year
Fantastic... saving approx $700 a year on our health insurance with additional extras thanks to Compare Club, Chloe our consultant and her team. We've been putting off doing a compare on our health insurance for years. Too much hassle,too much time and Better the devil you know right? But then we received notice from our existing health fund we've been with for 5 years that our premium was going up and that we would be covered for less. That's it. We set up a phone consult with compare Club Chloe rang us ontime and we've got new health fund cover that has the same basic hospital cover with extras that are suited to where my wife and I are now in life. Regularly compare your insurance policies. You could be paying for cover you don’t need. Shopping around every so often can save you a fair bit, maybe even hundreds each year.
Don’t just look at the premium, check the excess too. While a higher excess might bring down your premium, remember you’ll have to fork out more if you do need to claim.
Double-check what’s included in your policy. Extras like windscreen cover or roadside assistance might not be part of the deal and could cost you more.
If you don’t drive much, consider usage-based insurance. Some policies base your cost on how much you actually drive, if you work from home or only use your car for short trips this might be a much better option.
