Armin Paasch works as a policy advisor on business and human rights for MISEREOR, the German Catholic Bishops' Organisation for Development Cooperation. His current working areas are human rights in EU trade, investment and raw material policies and the respective role of private companies. Previously his work focused mainly on agricultural and trade policies and the right to food. From 2000 to 2009 he worked for the German section of the Foodfirst Information and Action Network (FIAN), an international NGO for the right to food. Paasch was born in 1974 in Belgium. He holds a Master's degree in history and German philology.
