laundry room makeover

i am WAY behind in blogging and just the thought of trying to catch up makes me sick...so i'm not really going to.  i decided to take the pressure off and just blog what i can when i can.  the reason i am blogging today about a room we re-did three years ago is because my friend denise blogged about it on her design blog HERE and had the pictures!  see...easy!  that's my mantra these days.  i just stole the pictures from her and decided to take 10 minutes to finally document it here on my own blog!  denise is the best and really was the brains behind this room re-do.  my main thing was i wanted concrete counters and lockers.  she came up with most of the rest. 
this is the top view of the lockers.  i love how she added interest to the cubbies above with the glass jars and old hats.  i wish you could see the bottom of the lockers because there is a concrete bench that runs the length with adorable metal buckets on wheels that roll out and hold all the kids shoes.  genius. 


the above view is of the cupboards above the washer and dryer.  they are so cute and organized.  it is so fun having the actual items you use be the decor.





here is the view from a little further away.  the drawers on the left i use for sorting the clothes.  this room makes me so happy and makes laundry not so much of a chore.  thanks denise!
